This Grammy-nominated organist has recorded hymns that date back to the 17th century to music that’s less than a decade old. To celebrate Bach’s 325th birthday, she played six New York City concerts and to commemorate the centennial of Olivier Messiaen she gave a performance that was heralded as the “Best of 2008,” in classic music and opera in Time-Out New York. Suffice it to say, this free performance by the musical virtuosos is quite a treat.
