Giving thanks

Sure, it may seem like an odd day to celebrate, but one News Hits fully embraces: National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers. Across the nation this Saturday, March 10, folks belonging to the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, Choice USA, Feminist Majority Foundation and other groups will honor the brave souls who make it possible for women to have legal, safe abortions. To view a list of ways you can show your appreciation to a local abortion provider, click on the Web site After all, with Dubya in office, who knows how much longer we will have this legal right?
