The Family Center of Grosse Pointe and Harper Woods is hosting a free seminar, Mindfulness in Schools: The Missing Piece to a Modern Education. Speakers include Kristin Ervin, president and co-founder, Michigan Collaborative for Mindfulness, and Hanna Reising, program coordinator for community wellness, and program assistant, Employee Wellness at Beaumont Health System. Participants will learn about the benefits of mindfulness in schools, and gain tips for students and educators on how to lessen stress and improve focus.
