Harmony Bones is a quintet of long-time veterans of the Ann Arbor folk music scene: Jeanne Mackey, Tom Voiles and Linda Teaman (of Nutshell), Laz Slomovits (of Gemini), and Eric Fithian. The band offers a wide range of traditional, contemporary and original folk songs, with rich vocal harmonies and an array of folk instruments—guitar, flute, pennywhistle, fiddle, bass, banjo, percussion, even sitar! The name Harmony Bones comes from an acupuncture point that harmonizes imbalances and promotes clear thinking, seeing, and hearing.
