comment

fury as shocking as the betrayal
dishes broke so quickly
they might have leapt unassisted
sacrificing their smooth faces

he did not dare to move
till she ran out the door
his last clean boxers waving in her fist
like a flag of surrender
she stomped with rage
pulverizing his procreation potential
with each vicious kick.

cowering inside
regret landed on his shoulders
with each blow to the empty crotch
