It might be time to switch horses in midstream, or consider the fact that decisions that were made a month or two ago need to be repealed. If you feel hesitant, it's because your sense of responsibility is on the loudspeaker. Give yourself one more week to look at how to handle this. For all you know, the fact that you've changed your mind could work out well for everyone. At this point you've got to do what works for you. Yes, it's hard to look like you're sloughing off, but you don't have time to waste and sometimes doing the right thing means breaking the rules.
