Human Rights Day Celebration with LGBTQ-focused Service

Enjoy a special Human Rights Service with a particular outreach to the LGBTQ community. The service will feature special music by “Sing Out Detroit”, a chorus which provides a supportive environment for LGBT people and allies to share the joy of musical performance. The sermon tpic is “A Queer Tradition.” A potluck lunch will follow the service. The church, which has a long history of activism and has been a welcoming congregation for many years, is an urban center for spiritual renewal and social justice, whose members strive to liberate truth, radiate kindness and love courageously.
