In a fix

comment

Located at 8075 W. Warren Ave., the edifice that formerly housed Pete’s Fix-It Shop is the last building standing on its block. Located on a major east-west artery, it is tucked into an embankment covered with weeds and debris.

Area residents say that within the past month the boxy two-story building adorned with much Turtle graffiti has become a haven for both the homeless and trash dumpers.

A.S.S. was unable to contact the building’s owner. However, we’re told by the city of Detroit that it is seeking a permit to demolish the structure.

In other words, the fix is in.
