Julia is the author of "Last Ragged Breath," the fourth in her critically acclaimed series of crime novels set in a small West Virginia town. The longtime chief book critic for the Chicago Tribune, where she won the Pulitzer Prize for feature writing, Julia was born and raised in West Virginia. She regularly contributes essays and book reviews to NPR’s All Things Considered and The NewsHour on PBS. This event, cosponsored by Aunt Agatha’s Mystery Bookshop, will include a book signing. Books will be for sale.
