Grammy Award winners Los Lobos are known for the Mexican-influenced rock that burst them to stardom in 1987. The band is far more musically versatile than that, however, with a sound that reflects their East L.A. roots and is grounded in rock & roll, R&B and Tejano. Music executive Linda Baker will examine at the life, career and music of this legendry band. This event is co-sponsored by the Michigan Theater and held in conjunction with their May 22 Los Lobos concert, which is part of their Legends of Rock & Roll series.
