Art Showing

Lowriding: From Crenshaw to Woodward Closing Reception

When: Sat., May 16, 5 p.m. 2015

Detroit may be the Motor City, but it was Los Angelenos who perfected the art of modifying classic cars with lower ground clearances and hydraulic suspension systems that can change the height of the vehicle with the flip of a switch. Curated by Southwest Detroit-based photographer and community leader Erik Howard, the show features work from artists from across the country dedicated to the cultural impact of lowrider cars and bikes. The closing reception will feature a lowrider car show in the parking lot.
