Monteverdi 1610 Vespers with Dark Horse Consort

Renowned early music ensemble Dark Horse Consort joins the up-and-coming chamber choir Audivi Vocem, along with early string specialists to present Monteverdi's liturgical masterpiece in a sacred context. The early music ensemble Dark Horse Consort is dedicated to unearthing the majestic late renaissance and early baroque repertoire for brass instruments. Audivi is a professional vocal ensemble based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Audivi focuses on presenting rarely heard Renaissance masterpieces. The stone sanctuary of the Cathedral provides the perfect venue for this concert.
