When: Tue., Jan. 6, 7-8:30 p.m. 2015
Morris is a type of traditional dance coming from the Cotswald region of England. It is very energetic, with the participants frequently leaping into the air. Dancers wear bells on their shins and hold either handkerchiefs or sticks to enliven their performances. During this workshop, we will teach the basic steps of Morris dancing as well as an easy dance or two. This event is perfect for those 12 years and older. The teachers will be Corey O'Sullivan and Sam Nolan.
