More than 70 institutions open their doors offering holiday-themed entertainment during Midtown’s Noel Night every year. The Detroit Institute of Arts, the Michigan Science Center, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Historical Museum, and the Detroit Public Library are just a few of the places that will be open free of charge on this evening of merrymaking. There will be horse-drawn carriages, holiday shopping, live music, crafts, and performances by over 200 local theater, dance, and music groups. The evening ends with a community singalong down Woodward Avenue led by the Salvation Army Band.
