Novi Better Health Market will host a FREE cooking class, Cooking with Tempeh, at 12 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5 located at 42875 Grand River Ave. Tempeh is a protein made of fermented soybeans. The delicious taste is paired with a rich and hearty texture and is used in a variety of healthy vegan dishes. Chef Val will teach the class how to make Sautéed Tempeh and Sauerkraut dish. Valerie Wilson has been in the food industry for 34 years, with a focus on vegan and macrobiotic cooking.
