When: Tue., March 24, 6 p.m. 2015
We’re lucky in our little corner of the country to have one of the longest-running independent film festivals in existence. The fest will feature more than 150 films, special presentations, panels and discussions, and after-parties. But why gather to watch films when we can catch so many of them at home on YouTube? It’s that sense of community and fun that draws people in, with no event fun than the opening night reception, with an open bar, cocktails from the Ravens Club, appetizers, a screening of short films in competition, and an afterparty at Seva. Roll ‘em. Opening night reception at 6 p.m., screening at 8:15 p.m.
