Patrick Sweany first became prominent for his spectacular skill of finger plucking the guitar, a skill set that helped him hone the art of his chosen genre, the acoustic blues persuasion, in the early ‘90s. Before a career stretch that led to nine albums and collectives with numerous renowned musicians, Sweany played his way through blues festivals around the U.S. He has been endorsed by the likes of Dean Guitars and Fender and gained critical acclaim for his skillful guitar and banjo strumming. It’d be a shame to miss that southern Sweany spirit Thursday night; special guests include Detroit’s own Ill Itches and Pulp Culture.
