Piano-O-Rooney: An extraordinary jazz event that spotlights five of Southeast Michigan's finest pianists: Rick Roe, Ellen Rowe, Dr. James Dapogny, Duncan McMillan and Mr. B will each be featured performing both solo piano and trio with bassist Paul Keller and drummer Pete Siers. Each pianist performs a 15 minute set, then returns for a 20 minute set. Three hours of great jazz piano from five of your beloved local jazz piano heroes! This concert raises funds to restore the Yamaha grand piano that lives @ Zal Gaz Grotto, is owned by the musicians and loved by the jazz community.
