Just because Paczki Day has come and gone doesn’t mean that you need to stop celebrating Detroit’s rich Polish heritage. The Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra is the largest music institution on Northern Poland and they will be performing here in Detroit. The orchestra hails straight from Gdansk, a city that is rich in history as it was a main hub for Polish communism. It was often described as the crown jewel of the Baltic Sea area.
