Fungi are everywhere around us. They form complex symbioses with all plants and animals, and they perform critical roles that keep complex ecological webs intact. Mushrooms and other fungi are deeply woven in the history of the Earth and all human cultures. And today, mycology (the study of fungi) offers great potential for addressing a wealth of global issues. In this special presentation, Peter will cover all these topics and more to prove that fungi are not only incredibly interesting, but integral to the human story.
