When: Mon., Dec. 7, 6:30-8 p.m. 2015
The City of Livonia will be starting with a new municipal solid waster hauling contractor in December. In this event, you’ll hear about current recycling trends, why we should recycle, and how we can do it better. There will be information on what to recycle and why doing so improves public health, reduces energy use, preserves fresh water and creates jobs. You’ll get stuff for the whole family! The event is being organized in cooperation with the Livonia Greenleaf Commission and the Livonia DPW and features a presentation by Daniela Carter, MSU graduate student in public health.
