When: Thu., Sept. 10, 7:45 p.m. 2015
This is the make-up show for Robert Plant’s cancelled June 9 gig. It ought to be a darn good time. Plant, after all, is the 1970s rock vocalist to beat all others. Sure, he can be histrionic and downright silly on a lot of the classic Led Zeppelin material, especially when you realize he’s singing about Tolkien and vikings and stuff, but it’s impossible to think of any of those great songs sung by anyone else. Plant is touring in support of Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar, a record Plant himself called “celebratory” and “powerful, gritty, African, Trance meets Zep.” Be sure to get there in time for local badasses Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas to open up.
Price: $40 - $135
