When: Fri., June 9, 7 p.m. 2017
If there’s a band that everyone needs to see right now, it’s Royal Blood. Busy with festival dates across the globe, the best English rock two-piece hasn’t been to Michigan since they opened for Foo Fighters on the Sonic Highways tour. They’re loud as hell, one part Muse and one part Rage Against the Machine, and their 2013 self-titled album was one of the year’s best, if not the decade’s. Every song is worth listening to again and again. They have a new record coming out on June 16 called How Did We Get So Dark?, so audience members will likely be treated to new material. They have a whole lot of stage presence for a very small band, and it’s best to see them now before they get huge and your only option to see them is in an arena.
