Made in Ferndale by Shannon Smith, the “organic when possible and always from the earth” product line Featherheart Trading Company features perfumes, hand salves, lip balms, hair oils, dry shampoo, and deep moisturizing creams. We recently picked up a pot of the Sandalwood Rose hand cream on a trip into Tulani Rose and instantly fell in love. Made with shea butter, olive oil, rose water, aloe, cocoa butter, beeswax, and sandalwood and rose essential oils, the lotion’s scent is pleasing without being overpowering, and its feel, while slightly greasy, melds nicely into the skin. You can pick up anything in Featherheart’s line online at their Etsy store, but some stores around town are also carrying select goods from the line.
