Halloween encourages a little craziness. And there are plenty of retailers out there who would like to capitalize on the idea. Take good old Spencer Gifts, for instance. The novelty, gag and gift giant makes a play for your pooch this trick-or-treat season by promoting its full line of costumes for dogs. Small, medium and large dogs can haunt the neighborhood as Batman, a cheerleader, a clown, Superman, or Fred Astaire in top hat and tails. Your dog will be the hit of the Halloween party, and the most-talked-about trick-or-treater on the block. Some of these Halloween doggie duds go for a reasonable $10, others are about $20. The dog costumes are available at www.spencergifts.com and at Spencer Gifts brick-and-mortar stores.
