Shelter screening

When: Thu., June 15, 7 p.m. 2017

Homelessness is just one of the many problems that plague this country and the world. This documentary sheds light on the problem by following several young people struggling from drug addiction and mental disorders as they seek “help and hope at Covenant House.” The year of filming sought to capture not only the struggles of the homeless, but those of the staff at the homeless shelter as they work together to overcome great odds. Created by Peabody award winners the Renaud Brothers and Michael K. Williams, this is a one-night only opportunity to see this hard-hitting film.
