When: Fri., Aug. 4, 7 p.m. 2017
This 5-year-old festival is held in Artist Village, which is located on the same strip in Old Redford as the historic Redford Theatre. This year, the festival will be a little different. Organizers have invited artists to create work around the theme, Radical Moment(um), and they’ll present innovative works of dance, theatre, music, and interactive art throughout the two-day festival. There will be music by renowned and award-winning Luis Resto and Marcus Elliot as well as performances by local dance companies, and a portable printmaking station run by Detroit Institute of Arts artist-in-residence Dylan Miner.
