When: Sun., Dec. 7, 11 p.m. 2014
Carey Mulligan is one of the most beautiful actresses in contemporary Hollywood; Bill Nighy is one of the most, uh, talented thespians in Hollywood (we had to give him some kind of compliment, for Pete’s sake). So what happens when one of the most talented thespians in Hollywood teams up with one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood for a production of David Hare’s Skylight? One word: cinemagic (you like? We came up with it ourselves). Recorded live from the West End by the National Theater Live in 2014, the production is about a particularly cold night when a schoolteacher (Mulligan) receives an impromptu visit from her former lover (Nighy).
