Spring is here! Let's celebrate with a bunch of craft beer

Got spring fever? Well, cool it....with a craft beer at this year's Spring Fever Beer Fest! After years of experience, we've come to the conclusion that beer always has the cure for what ails you and on Saturday, April 23 at Royal Oak Farmers Market, the doctor(s) will be IN. 

The annual celebration brings brewers and beer enthusiasts together under one roof. Labeled as a celebration of craft beers, the Spring Fever Beer Fest will feature over 50 breweries from around the world. The fest will include Michigan favorites like New Belgium, Rochester Mills Beer Company, Roak Brewing, Axle Brewing Company, Petoskey Brewing,  and Brewery Terra Firma, and feature limited-edition beer and ale releases. 

Bring your closest beer buddies and enjoy sampling craft beers from brewers from all over the world. Think you have a set beer palate? Sample something new. You might discover a new awesome ale.

Tickets are $45 and include admission, 15-20 three-ounce sample cups, a commemorative glass and a keepsake photo. 

The event is a part of the Royal Oak Beer Fest series. It will be held at the Royal Oak Farmers Market at 316 E. 11 Mile Rd., Royal Oak. The Spring Fever Beer Fest is for beer aficionados that are 21 and over. General admission, VIP and Designated Driver tickets can be purchased here.  

The Spring Fever Beer Club event starts at 6:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and at 7:30 p.m. for General Admission on Saturday, April 23.
