After two years in Campus Martius in downtown Detroit, Metro Times’ Summer Beer Fest is returning to the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Over 50 breweries from around the world will be represented with plenty of Michigan brews available too. Tickets come with 15 drink tokens that each grant a 3-ounce beer sample. In addition to tons of brews, there will also be Michigan-based food companies (think: Dago Joe’s, Easy Artisan, Jar Head Salsa, Guernsey Farms, Sanders Chocolate, Detroit Bold Coffee, and more) plus music, dancing, giant Jenga, hammer-schlagen, and cornhole. Those who buy VIP tickets will get special samples of rare brews that won’t be available to general admission as well as an extra hour of tasting before the event begins.
Price: $45 GA, $65 VIP, $15 DD
