Spend a Sunday afternoon learning about the history of the city of Northville at Mill Race Village. Built in 1972 by Northville in order to preserve the pre-1900s history, the village has an inn, school, church, rustic bridge, general store and several homes reminiscent of the time period. On Sundays from mid-June through mid-October costumed docents attend to guests, sharing with them facts about the buildings, their contents and the city itself. A blacksmith demonstrates his skills, weavers and hikers show off their skills and a strolling musicians sings and strums.
