The worst thing about car shows? All that pesky, beautiful, distracting steel. Sometimes you can spend all day at one without ever actually talking to a fellow gearhead. This car-less show returns to Kelly’s, putting the focus on socializing with other pre-1964 automobile aficionados (and let’s face it, if you spent all your cash on your car, you probably don’t have any money for anything other than cheap beer). Other non-car entertainment includes music by DJ Alan Alan Contino host of WHFR’s rockabilly show “the Wrekking Hours” and hors d'oeuvres like “Taco Pierogi.” Should make a good after party for the North American International Auto Show and tide some folks over for Autorama.
