The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra Presents: Beethoven Festival

When: Sept. 26-27 2020

Join your Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra (A²SO) online on September 26 and 27 for its season opening Beethoven Festival! The two-night special event begins with a performance by pianist Stewart Goodyear. In a program titled Goodyear & Beethoven, Mr. Goodyear will be performing Beethoven’s “Waldstein” Sonata, “Appassionata” Sonata, and Andante Favori. Recorded exclusively for the A²SO in Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music, this concert will be available to stream whenever and wherever beginning on September 26! The second half of the Beethoven Festival, titled The Berofskys & Beethoven, will feature A²SO Concertmaster Aaron Berofsky and his son, pianist Charles Berofsky. This exciting father and son performance is made possible by co-sponsors Alex and Connie Bridges. As this program closes the epic Beethoven Festival, it will also kick off a new series: A²SO House Concerts at Kerrytown Concert House. Through an innovative and collaborative new partnership with Kerrytown Concert House, the A²SO will professionally film and record programs throughout the fall in this historic venue.

Along with these two virtual concerts, the complete A²SO House Concerts at Kerrytown Concert House series will be available to stream anytime, anywhere, and all from the comfort of home throughout the fall season. Subscribe today at A2SO.com.
