Formed in Bolton, England in 1976, The Buzzcocks were pioneers in the British punk rock explosion. Their new album The Way, which came after an eight year silence between LPs, proves that Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle are still capable of writing energetic tunes with surprisingly experimental and introverted qualities. Instead of chasing the big singles they’re known for, the band is aging gracefully instead. Destroy This Place and the Ill Itches are on the bill to support.
