The Community Chorus of Detroit presents The Hope of Loving

When: Fri., May 18, 7:30-9:30 p.m. and Sat., May 19, 2-4 p.m. 2018

The concerts feature the renowned 85-voice chorus with Dr. Edward Maki-Schramm conducting, string quartet, and soloists. Our concert theme invites reflection on the range of human emotion, from despair to “the hope of loving” – finding hope and meaning in our lives through the beauty of nature, music, faith, and, most of all, the many ways we love – and are loved by – others. Working in partnership with Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, each concert ticket sold will provide six meals for our hungry neighbors.

Price: General admission tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
