Detroit is a hotbed of artistic activity and this exhibit seeks to prove it. Detroit Diaspora will showcase work from several generations of Detroit artists who work in mediums of visual arts like paint and photography, among others. While some of the artists represented in the show were born and raised here, others spent a significant portion of their lives carving a career out in the city. The exhibit will include works by Garry Grant, Glenn Tunstull, Kimberly Camp, Larry Walker, Lisa Bradley, Robert Tomlin, McArthur Binion, Melvin Clark, Michael Kelly Williams, Omo Misha, and Amir Bey. The exhibit will run until Dec. 29.
