The Intelligence, Salad Boys

When: Tue., Sept. 29, 9 p.m. 2015

The Intelligence have been doing their thing since 1999, laying the groundwork along with contemporaries Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall for the deliberately blown-out, lo-fi sound that would come to define the music scene of the early 2000’s. They are currently on tour with New Zealand’s Salad Boys, who are touring in the U.S. for the first time in support of their debut album, Metalmania, which sounds incredibly reminiscent of jangle-pop bands like Felt and The Stone Roses, and precisely nothing like Slayer.
