The Kiss of the Sun for Pardon

The latest production from this west side institution is a Comedy-drama about two unlikely roommates, Oriel, a young, fiery-tempered African American woman who answers an ad providing food and lodging at the residence of T-Bone, an obese, wheelchair-bound redneck. In typical Detroit Rep fashion, you can expect a production that’s equal parts humorous and poignant. Thursday’s world premiere will feature a Champagne toast and playwright Lans Traverse is expected to fly in from England. Runs every Thursday through Sunday, until May 17th.
