The Old Shillelagh Turns 40

When: Sat., Oct. 17 2015

Downtown Detroit’s beloved Irish pub, the Old Shillelagh, is turning 40 and it’s not going to celebrate quietly. This iconic institution has been family-owned since 1975 when retired police officer John Brady decided to realize his dream of opening a Dublin-style pub. Third-generation owner Shellie hosts the party, which will be inside on all three floors and outside on the deck and parking lot. There will be live music, DJ’s, 30 taps, and of course, Jameson shots all night. (21+)
