In a way, a stage presentation of The Rocky Horror Show is a return to roots, as what became a “picture show” started as a live musical comedy in London in 1973. Leave it to the irreverent cross-dressing thespians at the Ringwald to bring the kinky show to the stage with all the slap-and-tickle you’d expect. The story of clean-cut Brad and Janet, and their descent into a disorienting world of sexual urges, should be a crowd-pleaser.
Shows begins at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Mondays; Shows at 7 and 10 p.m. on Saturdays through Oct. 30, with a special midnight show on Saturday, Oct. 28; 22742 Woodward Ave., Ferndale; 248-545-5545; theringwald.com; Tickets are $25 Fridays and Saturdays, $10 Mondays.
Price: $25 Fridays and Saturdays; $10 Mondays
