The Great Pumpkin Feast returns to The Root Restaurant & Bar in White Lake, with local beer pairings from Jolly Pumpkin. Executive chef Nick Rodgers will complement the artisanal ales with five courses featuring Michigan-grown pumpkin variations and seasonally-inspired ingredients. Highlights will include heirloom pumpkin panna cotta with pickled ginger and sesame cracker; pumpkin Bolognese with house pappardelle pasta; and Spicer cider sorbet with hard cider float. The Great Pumpkin Feast begins at 7 p.m. Cost is $60 per person, with beer pairings available for an additional $25. Tax and gratuity are not included. Reservations are required.
