Very punny, you guys. Scottish band Trashcan Sinatras have been having fun for as long as they’ve been playing music, which is quite a long time. Formed in 1986 as a cover band, Trashcan Sinatras have long sharpened their penchant for clever lyrics and sweet indie ditties. To give you some insight into their influence, its wouldn't be a surprise if Tame Impala had listened to the band’s 2004 record Weightlifting before recording 2015’s Currents. This time around, TS are traveling as a three-piece and performing two unique acoustic sets per show, offering fans a unique retrospective of 30 years in the biz.
Doors open at 7 p.m.; 22920 Woodward Ave., Ferndale; 248-544-1991; themagicbag.com; Tickets are $20.
