Artist talk


When: Tue., Sept. 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The Treeposium, a tree symposium, brings together notable Detroit artists and speakers to discuss themes such as African material culture, the African American and the tree experience in Detroit, and the science of trees. Members of the public are invited to join d.Tree Studio project participants in this evening of performance and conversation on the past, present and future of these themes. Speakers and performers at the virtual fire-side chat include Keynote speaker Olayami Dabls, Charles Cross, Etta Adams, Giizhigad, Rob Henderson, Fai Foen, and performers Efe Bes and Imani Ma’at.
