“I still perform in the same three damn bands, although the Orbitsuns seem to be playing a bunch (we just need our amps, a small PA and a club that will pick up our bar tab). The summer concert season is approaching, and Sponge is slated for dates at the end of April, and festival one-offs through the summer. Crud is a complete riot; however, the production demands surrounding the live show make it a bit more of a challenge to book (we need a bar that will cover our tab with some money to pay for a killer light show and a PA that will not melt down when keeping up with the stage volume of the band). At the end of the day, the bookings always seem to work out and not overlap. And, of course, it’s about what’s fun and what makes sense.”
