“Take me out to the ball game; take me out with the crowd.” Utter these words in Tiger territory and everyone will chime in. Detroiters’ love for baseball is an old affair and you can see the game the way it was played in the 1800s. This Sunday, head over to Detroit’s historic Navin Field (the old Tiger Stadium) to see vintage teams recreate an era of baseball where uniforms were a old-timey and players did not wear gloves. The teams offer demonstrations and free family fun at the corner of Trumbull and Michigan. This week the Richmond Bees take on Kalamazoo’s Continental BBC.
