Through poetry, image-centric stage work, and movement, the performance explores our historical and present relationships to Armageddon through a language of visions and prophecy. The piece is framed as a pageant of a shipwrecked prophet's series of apocalyptic visions. Approximately 35 minutes in length, the piece travels from energetic dance routines to desperate prayer to sea shanties to religious ecstasy. Visions were developed through a two-year process of writing, research, and physical improvisation. Doors at 7:30 p.m. Performance at 8:00 p.m.
Price: Sliding Scale: $5-10
