A unique and temporary skate park, Wayfinding opens to the public this week with all the fanfare it deserves. After all, it was designed by the most influential skateboarder of all time, Tony Hawk. Library Street Collective, Bedrock, Quicken Loans, and Cranbrook also had a hand in bringing it to fruition, as did Modern Skate and Surf’s George Leichtweis. The space, which is adorned with brightly colored and highly stylized street signs by Ryan McGinness, will feature public performances and art activations until in closes in January.
