“We Have A Dream”

When: Sat., Jan. 24, 7 p.m. 2015

It’s a little known fact that the “dream” segment of Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous speech has origins in a speech King gave at a Detroit rally — so it follows that the Motor City is the perfect place to host a group art show dedicated entirely to the speech. Curator Roula David cast a wide net in selecting the more than 40 participating artists, featuring a mix of established and rising voices including Ron Zakrin, Kobie Solomon, Michael Eugene Burdock, and more.
