Of course, any post made by people of influence that urges the public to participate in democracy is great, especially considering Republicans, President Donald Trump included, have made it known that they would prefer fewer people vote. But for a rock band with a median age of 22.5 that has managed to grasp both the listenership of Boomers who really dig that GVF sounds like Zeppelin-lite and Gen Z who know nothing about the band's classic rock influences beyond whatever $14.99 distressed band T-shirt Target is peddling (who is David Bow-ie, anyway?), would it have killed them to paint “Biden 2020” upon their pale, glistening buttcheeks?

Six months after Live Nation announced it would suspend all touring concerts in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the world's largest live music organization revealed its plans to convert empty venues into polling sites for the upcoming election on Nov. 3. As part of a package of election and voting initiatives, which includes providing the company's active employees with a full day of paid time off to work the polls, Live Nation is working alongside local officials to explore, vet, and repurpose more than 100 venues throughout the country to serve as additional polling sites, many of which are large enough to help voters maintain social distancing during in-person voting, The Detroit Free Press reports.

OK — so they probably didn't quote Kid Rock's gibberish-filled banger from 1998 but Lynn, 88, and Robert “Kid Rock” Ritchie, 49, did have some fun during an elegant “hillbilly soiree” vow renewal for Lynn's son, Ernest, and his wife, Crystal.
