Reporter Charlie LeDuff is back after going silent from his regular Detroit-based media outlets, and he has gone national. In a new segment called "The Americans: with Charlie LeDuff," the reporter takes his brand of incendiary reporting to tackle bigger issues like ... getting the mayor of East Rutherford, N.J., host of the Super Bowl, a ticket to big game. Kind of makes his typical Detroit fare of reporting on police response times and golfing in vacant areas of the city seem silly, doesn't it? Yes, he is wearing American flag boots in the title card image above.
In the segment, LeDuff tries to raise a racket in the NFL headquarters in New York City and hounding suits on Wall Street in order to get the "disrespected" mayor a ticket. Check out the segment below or at FOX 2:
